Greetings
Welcome to Washington D.C.
We are having one year anniversary
cerebration of passing the ¡°Korean American Day¡± Resolution from both the House
and Senate on December 8th, 2006
Over the past century, Korean immigrants
have reached more than 2 million people in the United States.
Now more than ever, it is an indubitable
fact that American of Korean descent has become a thriving part of our nation,
playing pivotal roles within our county¡¯s history, politic, and economy. The
passing the ¡°Korean American Day¡± Resolution in Congress at last year December
was a turning point for American of Korean heritage as fundamental players
within mainstream America.
I am confident that the spirit of Korean
American Day will not only remind us of our heritage, but guide us for the
future generation of American of Korean descent, as we continue to merge into
the dynamic and richly diverse society of this blessed nation.
Enjoy your stay in the Capital City
and Celebrate the Anniversary.
